If you're willing to move to the new platform yes. But it will get more expensive than just buying a new CPU and card. New motherboard, RAM, and maybe a complete OS/pgms re-install.
The old i5-2400 can still keep up with a GTX 1060 if you simply need more gfx power. I have a i5-2400 and a GTX 1060. The i5-2400 games fine with it at 1080p/60 hz.

Even csgo is lagging sometimes. if these problems are gone when moving 7series i would awesome
Mobo 80 USD , CPU 220 USD, RAM around 60-80 USD , VGA 280 , logistics costs around 40 USD. extra ssd 80 USD
approximately 800 USD. i dont know seling my current setup and build this one is worth it. or wait 1 more year maybe ?
