Hi,
I have an old Compaq CQ61 laptop that needs the fans cleaning so i plan to upgrade the CPU while i'm at it.
It's currently running an AMD Sempron, M100,
The page in the manual says it'll accept, m300, m320, m500, m520 and the m600,
I don't plan on changing the fans or doing any mods, so wondered which of the above CPU's would be ok? (i was thinking the M320)
I was also wondering if i just fit the new cpu? or would i need to change any jumpers / bios settings ?
