Does the type of Bluetooth receiver you have in PC matters when buying a really expensive hi-end Bluetooth headphones?

I’m planning to purchase a $1000 or more bluetooth/wireless headset to use in PC but I only have a cheap bluetooth dongle in my PC. There is no integrated bluetooth in the motherboard. Would it affect the expected quality of the headsets?

well the solution is really cheap just buy a 4.0 bluetoth dongle and u will be ok,im using it as xbox one receiver
