What CPU is gonna be better with GTA V and Triple AAA Games?

The FX 6300 is a 5 year old cpu. Get the Ryzen 1200, its slightly cheaper, usually than the g4560 and performs about the same.

A Ryzen 1200 is like $30 more than a 6300. It would be irresponsible to suggest he be on an old, dead platform, which he'd entirely need to upgrade next time he wants to upgrade, to save him $30.

Absolutely 100% ryzen 1200.
I could see half an argument for a 6300 (because its still a half decent CPU) if the op already owned DDR3 ram or a am3 board & had very little money to spend.
Makes no sense now in 2017 though when the ryzen chips are available & cheap
Have you see the price of am3 boards of late ?? Anything decent is $100 or more because they've ceased production.
