I just did a new Ryzen build with a 1700 and I have a question. Right now I am running it with a Cryorig M9a air cooler is a cheap case. I am planning on moving that system to a case with much less air flow and height, so in my situation, should I go AIO cooler (up to 240mm) or a squat air cooler. My hieght restriction is about 100mm including the mobo. Now I can't exactly tell you the case so you can look for your self because, well... I'm building it. Please please please don't be like others and criticize me for that personal touch, but that's what I got.

What is my best option and a few recommendations would be nice. I would like to get a decent overclock out of the 1700 (up to the point of changing voltage to oc, but not beyond that).

Thank you very much for understanding and for your help.

Well Yeah, beacuse people have tested these Cooler before, and with the "mainstream" Ryzen cpus, they cool just as Well with the same coolers Intel uses, so If you just search up the coolers, and then Ryzen 7 1700, it will show lots of results. Another Cooler i almost forgot about is the kraken X62, there's a guy on my Norwegian site that sells hardware that uses the same cpu as you, and he said that that Cooler gave him very good temps.

Do you have any data to affirm that? Or is it a simple advice?
