Great aaa games and still have lagacy support

Do not ask me to change my windows
I want to keep my legacy 16 bit support and better dos gaming support

I have windows vista and would like to know the latest aaa games that will work on it. I bet a few windows 7 games may work.

I have:
Phenom 2 1045t
Evga 980 ftw
8gb ram
990fx motherboard

So i am not constrained
and name something other than mad max; i already play that amazing game

It's often difficult to tell, since recently, many games will list Windows 7 as a minimum requirement, even if they might run fine on earlier versions of Windows. One thing you can do is go into the Steam forum for a game you are interested in, and search for 'vista'. There will likely be others who have already asked that question for the game and got a response from someone who has tested it, in between the piles of posts making fun of them for using an unsupported operating system. : P You should also make sure you are updated to the latest service pack and everything though, to increase chances of compatibility.
