i just used the test to illustrate the buggy firmware for the kingston, should be solved in the meantime, but i know the used phison controller is just not adult.
Look it took Samsung 3 years and 3 product generation to come from MDX to MEX to M"whatever"X currently to solve all the issues with their controller, but it's adult now... which means, no issues, no problems, stable performance and so on.
And believe me or not, i hate to promote samsung - as i always vote for diversification in market and prefer to not buy from the number one, to just strengthen the competition in the market for my own good - in this case, if you want to stick with that HyperX - check if they have later firmware, if so, you are also good to go with that kingston drive, especially if available for better price.
