Hello,
I am planning my first PC build:

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Dvp3TH

And I am wondering how the PCIe shared ports works?
With the shared ports will I be able to run these:

GTX 1070 16x
WIFI card 1x (see build)
4 USB 3.0 1x https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815114010
without limiting performance on other parts?

the Add-on card section with the shared ports is on page 1-8
MOBO Manual: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/SocketAM4/STRIX_B350-F_GAMING/E12721_ROG_STRIX_B350-F_GAMING_UM_WEB.PDF?_ga=2.171852640.1300781029.1502718684-1830968268.1501767127

Any other suggestions about my build would also be helpful!

Thank you so much!

You will have plenty of PCIe lanes and performance will not be limited.

My only suggestion would be to get an r5 1600 instead of the 1600x. This would save you a bit of money as you would also not have to get a cpu cooler either. Just overclock the 1600 to 1600x speeds and have the same performance for less money.

The Ryzen 5 has 20 PCIe lanes. Your video card will run perfectly fine with 8 PCIe lanes. But even at the full x16 + 4 for M.2, +1 for wifi, and +1 for USB this puts you at 23. Your video card will still have access to 13 lanes.

So would the chipset allow me to use the Wifi card and the USB card? or where would those fit in if the 20 is covered by the GPU and M.2?
