I know these can be super simple builds, but Im looking to get one that has a small footprint.

Approximate Purchase Date: asap.

Budget Range: Cheap. I dont know what would constitute as a cheap build, maybe around $400? I know Im going to loose ~$100 with just windows alone.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: 99% is going to be internet use.

Are you buying a monitor: No, I have two LG L226WTQ-BF monitors that Id like to use. So with that being said, Id need a dual video out on the PC.

Parts to Upgrade: None.

Do you need to buy OS: Yes.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Doesnt matter, just needs to be in the USA.

Location: USA.

Parts Preferences: None.

Overclocking: Nope.

SLI or Crossfire: Nope.

Your Monitor Resolution: 1680 x 1050

Aditional Comments: I need a small foot print case.. I have some parts laying around such as:

i5 2400 sandy CPU
VGA Sapphire 10314-3L HD6870 1G
Rosewill RG630-s12 630w PSU
G Skill 4g (qty:2) RAM
Optical Drive.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: I want something with a smaller footprint. I dont know what the smallest case is, so Im here for help.

I like ITX and have built several for friends.
A very small case of high quality is the lian li PC=Q02.
http://www.lian-li.com/en/dt_portfolio/pc-q02/
It comes with a nice 300w psu and a slot for a slim dvd.
5.87" x 9.06" x 7.87"
Unfortunately, it is no longer made so you may have a nard time finding one.

The next best thing which is readily available will be the pc-Q07.
http://www.lian-li.com/en/dt_portfolio/pc-q07/
I use one of these as my backup and 32 bit gaming pc.
7.6" x 11.42" x 8.2"
It has a dvd bay and uses a standard atx psu.

To go inside, $39 for a G3930, $70 for a H110 ITX motherboard(check that it is new stock with a kaby lake bios update)
$70 for a 2 x 4gb kit of ddr4 ram.
$105 for 240gb Samsung evo ssd, A great $25 price on a Seasonic 430w psu:
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151074
$15 for a dvd drive.

Skynet:
Honestly, there has been a lot of weird things happening to this build lately. Its pretty old, I think around 2011 and if I can use a few things then I will, but its not a requirement. And honestly, I dont NEED to use TWO monitors... so that requirement isnt necessary. I dont know if Id use them that much anymore...

The motherboard is smoked, the WIFI doesnt work all the time and the Ethernet doesnt neither. so I had to buy a USB wifi card for temporary use for now. So I want to get a MB for sure.

What about a case like this? https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147098

Seems a lot smaller than what I have now.

Thanks that is what I figured. Alright well it looks like I should be good to go then. All I need to get is that case and the new MB and I should be able to xfer my components now into that new case.

Also, Should I use that sapphire card or just use the on board GPU?

I should have been more specific.
Intel ITX H61 motherboards will use sodimm ram.
The Intel H61 motherboard you linked from amazon is a M-ATX format which will use normal ddr3.
Here is the ITX one in question which I dismissed because of the added cost of new ram.

hey I found a DH61BE motherboard here too. Would that work?

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/desktop-boards/intel-desktop-boards-with-intel-h61-express-chipset/intel-desktop-board-dh61be.html

Or should I buy one from Amazon, that you linked earlier in the thread?

Or even this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Asus-P8H61-I-R2-0-LGA1155-Intel-H61-B3-DDR3-A-GbE-Mini-ITX-Motherboard-/201779597642?epid=127315481&hash=item2efb00514a:g:r3kAAOSwA3dYdE8L

I dont know how good that Intel board is, and if Im saving 85$, to me, Id rather get a new MB. I have most of the stuff I'll need here anyway, thus Id only be coming out of pocket on the MB and case.
