I'm looking to upgrade my cpu and I'm mostly gonna game and use the web with it.
I was wondering which one should I get,
the 7600k will cost me 228 dollar while the 7700 will cost 298 dollars.
which one performs better and which one do you recomend?
also can I use the b250m with the 6700k? I wont overclock it.

thanks in advance!

Even if you don't plan on OCing, keeping that option open will allow a CPU to still "feel good" in a few years.

Personally, I'd look to a R5 1600.

Consider the 7700 + B250 is going to set you back around $350

I'd opt for the i7 personally, from the two options presented - but it depends on the titles you play, and at what resolution.
Some titles are utilizing >4cores/threads, and that's likely to continue.

Yes, you could use the 6700K with a B250 board, but where did the 6700K come into it?
Do you already own the B250 board?

If not, I'd consider a Ryzen5 build. You can have a 4c/8t count CPU (or 6c/12c), albeit a little slower in gaming, for a much lower cost of entry vs a modern i7.

I dont own a b250m yet its just cheaper than the h270m and I dont want to oc.
Which ryzen 5 cpu do you recomend and why? Also what motherboard should I get with it?
side note I want a cpu that will still feel good in a few years.
Currently have the i5 4460 which is fine but it causes a bit stuttering in some games.
what do you think, i'd love to hear it :)

6 Core / 12 Thread, boosting to 3.6GHz.
Could benefit from an OC from the outset and, even while it will perform a little below an i5 or i7 due to their better IPC, it's a much smarter value proposition.

I'd ensure you pair it with high speed (ie 3000MHz+) DDR4 though, Ryzen really does seem to benefit from the faster memory.
