I recently bought a Radeon RX 460 4 GB for my computer. The problem I'm having is that while some games run way faster than before (Steam games), non steam games such as league and overwatch lags to the point where they are unplayable. After quitting those games, it usually makes my computer lag to the point where I can't even do basic internet surfing. .

I've uninstalled and reinstalled drivers multiple times, I am sure the drivers are updated to the most recent. I've uninstalled past drivers. I feel like I've tried everything. I thought adding those games to the Radeon Settings would help, but they did not help at all.

My CPU is an intel i5 4690k, and I have 16 GB ram. The specs should be sufficient enough to play League of Legends or Overwatch, as my past card (GTX 650) ran them very smoothly.

I've been trying to solve this problem for the past 2 days and I feel like my brain's about to explode...lmao someone please help me

Just a thought, but when you've uninstalled the drivers and re-installed them, did you install the new AMD driver in addition to the nvidia one, or did you clean the old drivers off first?
Not just uninstall the nvidia drivers, but use a driver cleaner to get rid of everything first?

I would uninstall all grapics drivers again. Then download and run the video card cleaner. Then download and install the latest amd drivers.

Good luck!

I tried it and didn't work...I think the performance of my computer overall just became worse after switching GPUs. Thanks for the answer, though :)

Sounds like your CPU / GPU might be thermal throttling. Monitor your temps when you play those games and also run a benchmark like 3D Mark and compare it to others with a similar setup. If it isn't thermal throttling, those scores might help you pinpoint the problem (probably the GPU, but I guess it's worth a look) .
