Overclocking i5 2500k limits

I have a i5 2500k 3.30hz 3.60hz
an GTX 1050ti
8gb ram
and motherboard is GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 ik its old

i want to know how to overclock on this motherboard and what the limit is

Doesn't say anything. The Corsair H60 (a 120mm single fan aio) gets almost exactly the same performance as a $30 CoolerMaster Hyper212 evo. With that you'll be looking at a good 4.2-4.4GHz OC. My cooler on my pc is a 280mm nzxt Kraken X61, twin 140mm fans. It'll keep my i7-3770K at 4.9GHz with stress test on all 8 threads under 74°C. Considerable difference. Big aio = big possible OC, little aio = little possible OC. But that still depends on the rest of the stuff mentioned.

My wife's pc is an i5-3570k. It gets 4.3GHz all day at low voltages and totally stable. Will not be stable at 4.4GHz,tried it on my mobo, with my cooler, maxed out cpu voltages, everything. Cpu will not go over 4.3GHz. That's called the silicon lottery. My i7 (so...

Overclocking that cpu is an involved subject, easily fill up a whole page, so that's not an easy answer, I'd suggest you Google it. Repeatedly. Read everything, watch everything that pertains to that cpu, that mobo etc.

Every cpu is different, so will have different limits, it's called the cpu lottery. If cpu cooling isn't a factor, you could hit @5GHz or as little as 4GHz before not being able to get stability in any way. As is, OC limits will be determined by a few different factors. Cpu lottery, cpu cooling, ambient temps, psu, airflow, your knowledge of OC, your motherboard, your ram, just to name the most obvious. So a definitive number is not possible to answer either.
