Just like the title says. I have tried everything on the pc troubleshooting thread, with no luck. I just replaced my faulty motherboard so I'm nervous that there is something else wrong with my computer.
The only possibilities now are CPU and motherboard, and the motherboard is more likely to be faulty. But yes, a local shop might help speed up the troubleshooting process and finding the faulty component. Whichever component is faulty, though, you'll most likely to be told to return it.
Ok I just tried swapping my psu with my brother's to see if that was the issue. My pc still turns off immediately when I turn it on. I even reapplied thermal paste to see if that could be the issue and swapped out my sata cable with a different one in a different port. Still to no avail.
Try removing the graphics card, and attach the monitor cable to the motherboard port. See if that works. If it turns on with the GPU removed, your GPU is faulty. If it still doesn't work, it's either the CPU or the motherboard.

switch your ram. or take and place 1 stick in at a time. unplug the the hard drives too.
if that fails, might be a dead mobo.
I tried that, and still nothing. I'm taking my pc to a computer repair place just to get a diagnostic so I at least know what's wrong before I start spending more money.
