Hi guys,

unforutunately we have a man down in my aging pc.

My graphics card has decided to kick the bucket. I was experiencing random system lockups every periodically when I was using my pc. Then it progressed to the graphics drivers kept crashing windows.

It has prompted me to review the cooling on my pc since I'll be upgrading it to ryzen 5 soon so I can run VR. My pc is going to be a 800w heater i suspect.

It has space for 2 fans at the top, two front, one at the back and one at the bottom where the legs for the case are. also decidated space for expansion slot style fan.

It might be an older model of this:

The front panel and layout is exactly the same.

So what would you guys recommend I do?

Do graphics card just run hotter than cpu's because I have never had any cpus die on me. I build a pc at 13 and that lasted years before I oc'ed it and killed it. But my gfx card only 3years max.

Solution
What parts are you using to think it will be 800 watts.
In general with that case 2X 140mm front fans and the single back fan is enough, remove the center drive bay for better flow.
