Hi,

I've gtx 1080 ti connected via HDML to LG 27UD58-B monitor. I've installed Windows 10 drivers for both the card and the monitor.

Max available resolution is 3840x2160@30Hz. I want to 3840x2160 @ 60 Hz. What's the problem here? Can HDMI support this resolution or do I need displayport cable?

So displayport cable has the ability to trigger new modes to show up in "available modes" listing?

I'm using a cable that was bundled with the monitor. I bought the monitor this month.
Markings on the cable (FWIW): AWM I/II A/B 80C 30V FT1 HONGLIN LM LF

I had the same issue, swap the HDMI for the displayport and 60hz becomes an option. Not sure if it is the card not liking the cable or not, but I noticed that when I went from HDMI (packaged with the monitor) to the displayport (packaged with the monitor) everything was good to go.
