DVD ROM not showing up so cant change its letter

Hi. Title says it all. Ive spent a while googeling and looking of this site but no joy. I need to change by DVD ROM drive letter from D: to another spare letter. I go into disk Managment and it is not listed anyware. How can I get it to show up do I can change drive letter.

[OS = Windows 10]

Try changing it's sata cable or connect cable to a different port if you insist there's nothing wrong with the drive, though if it was me I'd be trying a new drive - - I don't see how you can say it's working okay when it's not detected in Disk Management.

I've nothing else to add.
