corsair vs550 in enough for this system

Solution
Is 550 watts enough? Sure is.

Should you use the Corsair VS? No. You should not.

Why? Because the entire VS range is not designed for gaming loads at all. Even Corsair themselves only recommend using any VS power supply in light home/office builds built for word processing and internet browsing.

Please see the power supply tier list here: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

Anything from Tier 1 or 2 is a solid choice, with Tier 3 options at a push.

A poor quality PSU, even ones from big brands like Corsair, have a much higher fail rate than you would want for a unit powering an expensive gaming rig. Its simply not worth the risk for the sake of $10-20.

It would be close that VS only has 504 watts ( if it can even put that out and keep stable) on the 12 volt rail and is not very good quality.
I would look at the CX 550 or a Seasonic 620.
Depending on where you can buy parts and your budget if you list that we could probably pick you a better PSU.

Yes this will work from a calculator from cooler master your good with the build your provided but if you plan on doing sli or upgrading anything This may be effected by the number of fans, optical drives, storage drives, pci cards, liquid cooling kits (aio) etc everything efffects the power cause from your build you provided your at 326W but that not including fans and cooler. Most importantly if you want to overclock get a bigger psu.
