I am a high school student looking to buy a desktop system to suit my interests. Preferably, I would like to get a PC that I can take with me to college in a few years. I am both an art and computer science student, so I need something that could smoothly run lines of code, as well as connect to my Wacom drawing tablet to edit photography projects and digitally draw. I will also use the system to do simple things, such as streaming video, writing school reports, and some light gaming.

Due to my lack of hardware knowledge, I tend to stray away from building a system myself, and I would prefer a prebuild if possible. I do, however, have a good friend who is very experienced in doing builds, and is willing to help me if such an opportunity arises.

As for monitor compatibility, I am planning to get the Asus MX27AQ, which is a 27" IPS, with 2560x1440p display

Here are some specifications on my preferences:
- Intel Core i7 processor
- Must run 64-bit Windows 10
- Some Upgradability, because I plan on keeping this system for as long as I can
- Must be able to handle multiple monitors
(Knowing myself, it is likely that I will want a second monitor in the future)

Now here's the hard part:
Budget: $800 and below
(Willing to go up to $1000)

I acknowledge any and all suggestions, as well as different opinions on my preferences. All detailed information and personal feedback are appreciated and welcomed. Thank you for your time!

Rather than getting a prebuild, you will get a much better pc if you can get it built by your friend or some professional for a few bucks. Fot the above requirements you have mentioned you will need a good cpu. Unfortunately, since the advent of Ryzen cpus this year, i7 has become bad value except for gaming. Something like this should be apt for you and will last you for years.

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 7 1700 3.0GHz 8-Core Processor ($289.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: MSI - B350 GAMING PRO CARBON ATX AM4 Motherboard ($103.49 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($126.99 @ Newegg)...

Well I the Asus - MX279H 27.0" 1920 1080 Monitor fit your interest I suggest getting a monitor that is LED IPS cause those process color much more realistically than a TN monitor or a LED monitor.
