Hi all,
I have noticed lately that i have 2 partition named the same with 2 different letters (E and G). When i took a closer look the partitions are infact the single mirrored partition that i have created to store my pictures.
This are the detalies of the partions from the Disk Management:
Volume Layout Type File system Status Capacity Free Space
Poze (E:) Simple Dynamic NTFS Healthy 465.76 GB 47.37 GB
Poze (G:) Simple Dynamic NTFS Healthy 465.76 GB 62.77GB

The questions are:
Is the mirrored partition ok?
Why are they seened like two partitions in stead of one?
Why do they have different free space?
Are they syncked?
And if there is a problem how can i fix it?

Thak you for your help.

Solution
So you should be seeing the same drive letter on both disks, that is a bit strange. You may want to break the mirror, format the second drive and set up the mirror again. It may be a good idea to have a backup of whatever data is on the drives to another drive just in case you have issues with both drives when doing this.
No way to know what those are without seeing your setup. Post a picture of your Disk Manager screen. You said you created a mirrored partition, what do you mean by that exactly? Did you do a RAID setup? Did you link the two partitions or disks with some other software?

To create the mirror volume i have used the Windows7 option from Disk Management. To create the mirror volume I have used 2 HDD of 500GB each. In the Disk Management tool I have clicked RightClik on a Disk and choose New Mirrored Volume..., after wich i have choose the second disk in the windows that opened. And from what i remembered in the Windows Explorer window I saw only one partition (G: ), now i can see 2 partition one to Disk 2 and another to Disk 3, with diffrenet amount of unsed disk space, and i don't know if everything is ok.
I have uploaded a PS of the Disk Management screen.

The strange part was my idea also. I am in the process of setting up a bigger mirror partition so I will do what you said. I did not know for sure if the way it is now was ok or not, but now I know it is not. Thank you for the answer.
