I'm so confused what should I get. I used (Speecy) to know my installed ram spec it showed as

Memory

Dram frequency = 665MHz
[CAS # Latency (CL) = 15 clock
(tRCD) = 15 clock
(tRP) = 15 cock
(tRAS) =35 clock
(CR) = IT

Slot 1
Size = 4096
Max Bandwidth = DDR4-2400MHz (1200)

/ the question is what should I get to upgrade my ram to 8 by adding 4

1- 4 GB DDR4 2133 MHz (15CL)
2- 4 GB DDR4 2400 MHz (17CL)

I'm wondering why it showed as 15CL not 17CL if it's 2400Mhz ? Or the program is not accurate !

Thanks in advance

Solution
If your going to just add more then download GPU-Z under SPD it will show the exact memory you have and add anouther stick of that.
Next to buying a matched set that is the best option.
Yes CL = CAS Latency

Your best bet is to buy a new set, mixing sticks even from the same manufacture can sometimes cause issues. DDR4 comes in all flavors of CL#'s, from CL12 all the way to CL17. Most of the time the lower the CL# the more your going to pay. It also depends on the size of the stick, a 4GB stick can get a lower CL# compared to a 8GB stick or to get the same lower CL# on the 8GB stick you will pay a lot more.
