Hello,

Temperature while idle: 35-40c
While gaming: ~77c
I am using the stock cooler.

Should I switch it out for a new cooler?
Was looking over Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo (the 212 Evo and the 212X have the same price in my country of 35 euros, but I have no clue which is better).
also Deepcool Maelstorm 120T is 5euros more, but it is a liquid cooler, not sure if it is any good.
Ideas/suggestions?

I mean, 83xx series are just hot chips. 77 is high. You could use a large cooler like that; it would surely lower your temps but you're not going to get any air on your chipset or regulators/capacitors. If your case has an intake fan that can provide air to those areas around the processor, I say go for it.

I used to have the same CPU with the Evo 212 and I never had a overheating issue. It stayed around 55-60 while intense gaming for hours. What are your specs? If they are significantly better than my old spec with the FX8320 they you may want to get a better one.

With that rig you should be all good to go!
What will you be using your computer for?

Gaming. So should I upgrade the stock cooler? Since as I said when gaming the CPU with the stock cooler (AVC) reaches 77c which atleast as I read is quite a lot.

Its totally up to you, I used the 212 Evo specifically for gaming. I played games such as King of the kill and had no issues. If you want to spend alot more cash on a more efficient fan than take a look at noctua.
