I'm doing a complete z270 upgrade on my computer. here's my parts list:
MSI z270 gaming m7 motherboard
corsair vengeance LED RAM
Corsair spec-03 case
Corsair H105 Liquid Cooler
MSI GTX 1060 6gb gaming X graphics card
2tb HDD
EVGA 500BQ power supply
I7-7700k or I5-7600k (undecided)

my only question is will there be any compatibility/clearance issues with the cooler, the case, and/or the motherboard??

i know the motherboard has larger heat shields on it and am not sure if the H105 (due to thicker radiator size) will fit above it with the provided space of the case.

i already have the case and cooler, just need the motherboard. I've avoided buying it until I've found a sure solution. my alternative would most likely be the MSI Pro Carbon (unless someone else has any better recommendations. would still like to stay with MSI if possible. my color scheme is black with red LED)

- The Spec-03 case is not compatible with the H105 liquid cooler I believe.
- The EVGA500BQ is not the best quality of PSUs, I would sooner recommend a Seasonic G or M12 series
- Opting for the i5 or i7 realistically will depend on your application. the i5 will handle the 1060 perfectly fine.
- I'd always potentially recommend opting for an SSD in any setup, but that's your choice.

thank you guys for your answers, you saved me tons of frustration. and i do plan on upgrading to an m.2 later on. I've had EVGA power supplies in many builds and have had no issues out of them so far so I've just stuck with them. instead I'm going to go with the Cryorig H7 cooler and swap out the 49CFM single fan on it for 2x 83CFM performance fans, should get nearly (if not the same) performance quality out of it instead.
