The drive is owned by my boss, I have asked twice how he messed this drive up with no answer. What I have done so far is, I have tested the disk with testdisk, I have taken the drive apart and checked the controller by plunging another drive into it, I have tried CHKDSK but the drive wont initialize so no drive letter or path for it to see. I can hear the drive trying to run but that is it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, this drive contains a lot of valuable information. I would also like to note that I have looked through a large number of threads and cannot seem to find anything that helps. Thanks!
