So upon starting the computer for the first time I noticed the two 8gb sticks of the Gskill Tridentz at 3200mhz were automatically underclocked to 2133. I tried to put the speeds up, still under 3200mhz, but the computer began a restart loop and eventually booted into safe mode and I had to set it back to 2133mhz.

Complete Specs List:
Ryzen 1600
Asus b350 Plus
16gb (two sticks) of Gskill's Tridentz at 3200mhz
Geforce GTX 1070
240gb SSD + 2tb HDD
550w 80+ power supply

If anyone knows how I can successfully get the most potential out of my ram please leave a reply below. It is much appreciated.

Solution
Start by updating the BIOS to version 0806. Then use the DOCP option in the BIOS to see if it will overclock.

2133 is not an "underclock" it is the standard speed. Anything higher than that is an overclock.

Updating the bios was the very first thing I did. I am kinda a noob to this stuff so I will look into the DOCP option and see what happens. Thank you.
