Couple of days ago I upgraded to AC87U.
But I'm having some serious problems with it. I really want to just throw the s*** out.
The problem I'm facing, is first of all. The signal strength to my PC at second floor (router is in first floor), is bad. It is only one signal bar. I can not even find the 5GHz connection that is set up as well. On my iPhone next to the PC I can find 5GHz network.
I have tried all kind of combinations for the antennas, but still no improvement.
Second, I have a 100/100 broadband. I am only getting like 12/6 and 15-20 ms ping. Before I upgraded my router I got like 2 ms ping. My ISP tested and got 1 ms.
I have tried every channel from 1 to 13 (beside 5 and 12 because I could not find any network when I chose those two channels) on 20 MHz bandwidth. 40 MHz do not make a difference.
Just after changing to channel 9 and 20 MHz that I did earlier today, I got like 46/30. But still far away from 100/100. But now as I said 12/6. Just one hour ago I got max 2mbps .... so it's SO UNSTABLE.
When I use 5GHz on my iPhone in second floor I get 40-50/20. In first floor like 100/100.
When connected to router with cable the ping is still 15 ms, but connection 100/100 mbps.
So it seems like 2.4GHz is fucked up somehow?
Could someone please help me? My energy is like empty. I've tried everything.
QoS is disabled. I have tried activate and deactivate jumbo and NAT. No difference.
Firmwire is the newest.
IPv6 disabled.

I use D-Link DWA-140 RangeBooster USB that is connected to my computer for wifi. It worked very good with all the previous routers.
