Hello, recently I've decided to replace some of the parts in my current PC (case, mobo, psu). I decided on the first two ones already, but the biggest problem for me is picking the right PSU because I'm completely fresh in this topic. I'd appreciate every advice you guys could provide me with.

My specs are going to look like this:

CPU: AMD FX 6300
CPU cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-990FX-Gaming
RAM: 8GB GoodRam PLAY Silver (most likely will upgrade it as well when I got the chance)
GPU: Nvidia GTX 750ti 2gb

I've been thinking of getting Corsair CX550 but before I do so, I'd like to be completely sure if it's going to be enough for me :) I'm planning on overclocking my CPU a bit and use this PC mostly for gaming. If you could tell me if this PSU will be good enough, or if there's a cheaper alternative for me, I'd much appreciate it!

Solution
The CX550 (2017) should be alright for your PC but I would probably recommend a higher quality PSU if you intend on overclocking or if your looking to upgrade in the future. I'd recommend you go instead for the Corsair CX 550M version. Its semi modular, costs very similar, and is all round better build.
