The monitor with this issue is the Acer XG270HU. I also have an Asus monitor to the side but don't know the name of the model. The specific issue with the Acer is that all shades of blue (and blue only) are more brighter than they should be. All shades of blue seem to be cyan or greenish no matter what. Here is a picture I took with my phone showing the same picture of the color blue being displayed on both monitor at the same time http://imgur.com/xUHPDFs (misaligned since they have different resolutions) This specific monitor has given me issues in the past. A few months ago I turned on my PC for the 1st time of that day and the login screen was this http://imgur.com/eRfyu4c. After contacting Acer support they sent me a new power cable. Power cable solved the issue. Also starting a few days ago sometimes that monitor wouldn't have anything on the screen when I turned it on. I know the issue isn't my GPU (1070) since the Asus has had 0 issues ever. I plan on contacting support sometime this week since it has a 3 year limited warranty (was an idiot and didn't buy warranty at microcenter). Will asking for a new power cable solve the issue? Or will I have to send it for repair and hope for the best. I do plan on replacing it or sending it for repair the next time an issue like this happens if the replaced replacement cable ends up working. I've already done the basic troubleshooting of using different display port cable, changing to HDMI, unplugging power cable (outlet, pc, and the brick), and messed around with the monitor settings to make sure it somehow changed the saturation levels or whatever.
