Are you running Windows 10 if not you are on Directx 11 and there will be no Directx 12 option. In BF1: Options > Video > Advanced > DX12 Enabled to Disabled. yeah i changed it turns out it was my resolution scale that was turned up for some reason now its fine 100+ fps ez
