I bought a SDD, installed windows 7, updated the motherboard, and now have internet access on the SDD. I also have a HDD that has all my stuff on it, games, obs, spotify etc. My questions are how can i play a game that isn't steam, and also how to play games on steam. I think i could figure out the steam by myself, but the other games like Black Desert online i dont have that on steam i installed it from their website but when i go into my D drive or my HDD, and click on the game it isn't allowing me to play it.

Solution

Steam games, just tell your new Steam clinet about their current location.
Other games and applications (Spotify, etc) will have to be reinstalled.

Assuming you've installed a new Steam client with the new OS, that functionality is built directly into Steam.

Add a Library folder, like this:
Steam games location
In the steam client:
Steam
Settings
Downloads
Steam Library Folders
Add library folder
