Hi, im currently trying to troubleshoot my RX 580 cause my PC turns on but no i receive no display.
So i switched the card to another pci-e slot to see if anything would change and nothing. so then i got my previous graphics card (r7 250x) and plunged it into the first pci-e slot and the display worked so it loaded windows and i looked at the display properties and saw Microsoft display adapter as my graphics card so did it work because of the r7 250x or cause the r7 250x wasnt reconized so my PC used this "on board graphics card" the Microsoft display adapter?

Thanks

I'd recommend putting the RX580 back in. Then do a CMOS reset on the motherboard. check your mobo manually for how to do this. Typically, you unplug your PC from the wall socket. Then remove the button cell battery from the mobo for minute. Put the battery back in and boot up.
