Hello All,

I know this is a repetitive questions for most of you but I will try to provide as much as detail possible so that experts can provide me quick answers. So my issue is I have been playing FIFA 17 from quite a long time now & has seen numerous issues surrounding.

I will write my complete Specs below for your reference.

So the issue is I have been playing FIFA 17 demo the FPS was around 25-30 & there was slight stutter that was manageable but those days I was on Windows 10 system so to better the performance a bit i shifted to Windows 8.1 64 bit. After a fresh Install i could feel no stutter at all but as time passed by the gaming experience degraded yes I know software's were installed, games in & out etc might have caused sluggishness. So I have FIFA 17 Original in 2 way now cracked which gives me same 25-30 fps slightly playable & FIFA 17 through Origin but not playable at all. FPS at both the times are same & going till 5-10 at times that's a random drop though picks up in seconds. Now my question is providing the below specs will adding a 4GB RAM kit help for a smoother gameplay or this game wont be playable at this specs.

Specs:

1. CPU - Core i5-5200U 2.2GHz
2. GPU - GeForce 920M 2GB
3. RAM - 4 GB DDR3 1066MHz
4. HDD - 1 TB
5. Cooling Fan attached

Solution
Finally after a lot of research work my friend found the solution it was mere a Downgrade performed drivers from 358.41 to 382.33 for Nvidia 920M & the issue fixed instantly so basically Nvidia drivers update is nothing but just a shit update to ruin the performance & then upgrading our system, investing again in shitty parts. Clean uninstall for Display & Nvidia drivers then a fresh installation of Old drivers, FPS is now around 60-75 & then a mere delay to 40-45.
External GPU does not really worth the price.
The case for external GPU itself is already quite expensive (e.g. Razer Core) and you need to pay attention to the connection to the laptop e.g. thunderbolt or USB3, etc.
You also still needs to buy the GPU itself.
Plus, the GPU will not run as fast as the GPU, if the GPU is used on normal PC (not as external)
I am tending to say, ignore this!
This solution might even be a lot more expensive than the laptop itself.
Acer i5 -5200U+GTX920M came usually really cheap.

You have only 4GB, if the games already struggeling because of lack of RAM, yes, you will see quite a lot improvement, but if the game is not suffering from this, you will not see any improvement at all.
Basically, what you really need is a better laptop with better GPU.
There is not real other solution for this.
Sorry.
