I was planning to buy a seasonic m12ii-520 from alza.co.uk, however, according to the site, it will come with an eu plug. I have a standard 250v 10a kettle cable which came from an old dell computer, which I could use. Seasonic say on their website that the psu input is 100v-240v and 9a; will it make a difference if the cable says 250v and 10a?

Thanks in advance

ps: I found this http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2924029/plug-ire-plug-psu-advice-appreciated.html but his psu input was 10a not 9a, I know the difference is not huge but I just want to check.

Your Dell cable is fine to use since 250V at 10A is it's rated power which it can pass safely, not the power which cable itself consumes. If your cable would be rated for 210V at 8A then you have a problem since PSU most likely would attempt to draw much more power through it than it's rated for and cable melts.
