Only my left speaker works and the subwoofer. The right speaker that hooked up by rca died and i threw it out without trying to fix it.
Now I want to buy a replacement for it without buying a whole new speaker set. What do I type into amazon or ebay?

Looks like you use pretty much any speaker with a RCA audio jack to replace the one that died. Sound quality may suffer if you get a speaker too big due to the smaller amp not being able to push enough through it. Basically almost any Logitech or similar small speaker with a RCA male connector can work.

It's possible that the right side amplifier in the woofer is dead. You can test that by putting the working speaker into the right output to be sure. If both outputs are good, you should get a cheap PAIR of matching speakers. You can buy a couple of RCA jumpers and cut off one end if the speakers have just regular bare-wire connections.

I couldn't find anything on ebay or amazon. Either i'm not typing the right hting in or they don't sell side speakers.
How much do I need to spend to get a good pc speaker setup in Canada? My dad won't let me play music loud but I'd like to have quality audio for video and gaming. obviously my speakers now are 19 years old.
is 7.1 good for gaming?
