i got a inspiron 7000 gaming laptop a few months back and im curious about upgrading to SSD.
is it possible to upgrade the laptop to SSD without replacing the 1TB HDD?

Solution
most laptop motherboards have at least two sata connectors, but sometimes the second one can be for an optical drive. If it is you can use an adapter to plug in your second hard drive.
If it is not then just plug your second hard drive in directly.
But also in most cases, the motherboard's second SATA plug is a bit more hidden than the first one so you'll need to open your lapto and look for it

look up the repair manual for your particular model. That will tell you if there is space for a 2nd drive inside it or not. You can also just remove the bottom panel as well and just look, should be pretty obvious if there is space for a 2nd drive or not.
