Will this affect gaming (in a bad meaning)

Hello guys , I have a PC with 8 gb of ram ddr3 1600mhz ( 2x4 ) my mobo is gigabyte z97x gaming 3 , my question is if I add more 16gb dd3 1600 MHz exactly the same brand and frequency just 2x8 so I have in total 24 will affect gaming or the system at all in the bad meaning some lags or something ? Because I received them for free ( A-DATA 1600 MHz is the brand and frequency)

Adding more RAM if you can can only do good to your computer if the CPU and Motherboards supports that much RAM (it most of the time supports up to 64gb)
I am guessing you already know that but adding more RAM will only allow you to run more tasks at the same time and also run "RAM thirsty" games more smoothly.
So yes, if this new RAM is in good conditions and that your CPU and motherboard supports 24gb of RAM, it is all good

They are brand new my question is will there issue because I mixing 2x4 with 2x8 , sry maybe I haven't explained that well at the beginning and yes its supports to 32 or 64 so its not that the issue :)

For CPU im using i7-4790(non K )
For GPU im using Gtx 1080 ti and soon im adding from EK full cpu - gpu liquid loop cooling system just was wondering about the RAM
