I am looking for a new laptop for Uni this coming September and have been noticing a lot of them have Dual Core CPUs.
I am looking for a good performing solution for a reasonable price, especially since I am used to my High Performance PC at home. I have noticed that even reasonably priced laptops have duel core processors. I am wondering if this is really as big as a problem as I am potentially seeing it as.
I won't be doing anything too demanding on the PC, typical student stuff, definitely not Gaming/Video Editing etc.
Will I see a notable performance loss with a Duel Core CPU?
Thanks )
Rough Specs of the Laptops I am looking at:
i5-7200U @ 2.5 GHz / 3.1 GHz (Turbo)
8GB Memory DDR3
It will have an SSD too
