I have a 32GB USB drive, which was working fine before. Now when I connected it to my laptop it is not being recognized. When I connect it, windows makes the bleep sound when a removable media is being connectd. but the USB path doesn't appear in 'This PC'. The weird thing is that it appears in disk management. but the option to format is not there. When I look at properties it shows that the USB drive's volume is 0MB and 0MB are used. I tried changing the path letter, but this didn't fix it. I also tried finding and formating the USB drive from Command Promt but it says that a drive with this path doesn't exist or something similar. I even tried using third party software 'jetflash' to fix this but with not success - no removable drive. Tried several devices but with no success

Does anyone know what the problem could be and can it be fixed somehow?
