I am looking at buying a new pc for gaming, and was wondering what your thoughts on my PC and monitor were:

I do plan on upgrading to 8 GB of RAM, since I don't feel like 4 will be enough. Also, I don't plan on doing anything to crazy with it, and don't necessarily need to run things at maximum graphics, so any help or advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

That PC is outdated, and not worth that price. I recently paid $30 more for an i5 Skylake with 8GB of DDR4 RAM, same size hard drive, same video card, and Windows 10 Pro, from Dell, with a coupon deal. Only downside is it came with a 350W power supply, but that'll get upgraded when I get a good video card for it.

Not sure if the coupon is still good, but right now you can go here:
http://www.dell.com/en-us/work/shop/productdetails/xps-8910-desktop

Click on the one to the far right (i7 Skylake), and then if you make no changes, in the cart enter the coupon code XPS599 and get it for $599. The only downside is likely you'll have a 350W power supply, which you'll need to upgrade if you want to add a serious graphics card later.

I think this is actually a good deal, cheap and powerfull need some changes to be a gaming rig but it could work.
Still i prefer to buy the parts and go custom assembly, he could get better mobo, ram, disks and psu self building it than buying oem machines.

Good find tho!
