I just got Team T-Force RGB (2X8) Memory. I installed it and it is making a low then high pitch noise. It repeats by going low, then high and so on and so on. It looks to be working. but the noise is not normal. I have never heard it with any other Memory sticks. Does any one have an idea of what it could be? Defective? MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon MOBO in case that is part of the problem.

Thank you

Solution
It is possible there is a choke somewhere on the motherboard making the noise. I suggest taking an unsharpened wooden pencil and placing it against various devices on the board. See if any of them are the source of the noise.

If so you should probably consider an RMA.

If it truly is the ram, same thing, try getting a new set from the vendor.

It did not change. First I set it as default. Then I took then ouit and started over and set them to 3200mhz. Still the noise would not go away. It was like and eletrical buizzing that went low to high and never stopped. I did not mess with the voltage as it was set where it needed to be already.

Thanks
