i'm Planning to Build a PC fits my money
will this specs support each other ?
------
Motherboard : Gigabyte H81M-S2PT or P81-D3 1150
GPU : Galax GeForce GTX 1050 Ti OC 4GB GDDR5
CPU : Intel Core I5-7400
PSU : Thermaltake Litepower 550W
-----
I already have 8GB RAM DDR3 + 2TB HDD
-----
Update : I've currently PSU 320W

Solution
The B250 are compatible (and released) with KabyLake, and will support the previous Skylake CPUs 'out of the box'.

The H110 boards (and H170, B150, Z170) released with Skylake..... so supported Skylake CPUs only. BIOS updates were released to allow support for KabyLake but, unless the board you purchase (H110, H170 etc) specifically state they have the updated BIOS to support KabyLake, it's a good idea to assume it won't.

The CPU you're looking at (i5-7400) is KabyLake. So B250, H270 or Z270 chipset boards will support KabyLake out of the box without issue.

No, an i5-7400 is KabyLake and would need a B250/H270 or Z270 (or B150, H110, H170 or Z170 with a BIOS update).
It is not compatible with an H81 board.

You'd also need DDR4 for most of the new boards (not sure if the Skylake DDR3L boards support KabyLake)

Which of these components (if any) do you currently have?

RAM and the Hard Disks
What I'm gonna buy for sure is the GPU & CPU
only Motherboard ...i'm searching for one that supports core i5 7th Generation plus DDR3 Ram and closing to P81-D3 price
about PSU its not a problem isn't it ?

Your current ram specifically needs to be DDR3L(legacy), not DDR3, or it won't work with 6th & 7th gen cpus. Check the label on the stick(s) and see if there's an L at the end of ddr3.

If you're set on the i5-7400 and 1050TI, the lowest priced B250 board should be more than sufficient.
In the US, it's:
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Motherboard: MSI - B250M PRO-VD Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($59.89 @ OutletPC)
Total: $59.89
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

But you will need DDR4.

Cheapest:
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Memory: Patriot - Viper Elite 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($62.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $62.99
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

The ThermalTake Litepower is an "ok" PSU. Not the greatest, but for a 7400 and a 1050TI it would be fine..... could probably do better for (potentially) cheaper.

What's your budget for components? And what is your location?

DDR3L is "low voltage". It's 1.35V rather than 1.5V of "traditional" DDR3. If the OP is buying new, DDR3L should be out of the question, and just opt for DDR4.

Ok so ... How about now:
CPU : Intel Core I5-7400
GPU : Galax GeForce GTX [1050 OC 2GB] or [GTX 1050 Ti OC 4GB] GDDR5
PSU : 320W (Currently have)
Motherboard : Gigabyte H110M-S2PH Socket 1151

The H110 boards likely need a BIOS update to support the KabyLake 7400 - a BIOS update you cannot perform without a compatible Skylake chip (minimum $40 I believe). The B250 boards should be cheaper overall.

As for the 320W PSU, that entirely depends what PSU it is. If it's a "true" 300+W PSU, then the 75W GPU + 65W CPU + balance should be fine.

What are Ryzen prices like in your location? A Ryzen3 build may end up cheaper and perform similarly.

What is your location? What's your budget?

im from Egypt ... having about 8500 EGP => 478 USD
Ryzen needs more than core i5-7400 that i want to buy (Core I5-7400 Kaby Lake 6M 4-Core 3.5GHz LGA 1151)

so B250 already have a Compatibility for Skylake chip you mean? if so ... what other boards could be Skylake Compatible or how do i know this info about motherboards?

When you asked what parts the OP HAD, they said the RAM(8gb DDR3) and hard disks. If they want a 6th or 7th gen cpu build, then they need to get new ram(either DDR3L or DDR4) as well, or risk damaging the memory controller on the new setup. That's why I asked for OP to check the sticks they already have to be sure they would be compatible. I agree with you on everything else though.

I agree, but I've mentioned the same thing numerous times throughout the thread?

Probably a good idea you reitterated. I was assuming the OP has caught that much........ but looking back, they didn't mention the RAM again, and left it out of the build.

OP. DDR4 or DDR3L (low voltage, 1.35V)

Hopefully they noticed, or they'll likely be back here again wondering why something's fried on their motherboard...
