Hi there, I have a friend that was helping me with a build and I'm using a 165 Hz monitor and he said I'll need 2 graphics cards an a SLI bridge but someone else told me that having 2 graphics cards can sometimes make a certain game not run as it's suppose to. So I'm not exactly sure what to do...

The card will work perfect with that monitor, I don't know where your friend is getting his information from. Even a single GTX 1080 ti will handle most games on Ultra/High at 4K/60 FPS. While some games may benefit from SLI (2 cards) many of the newer games don't support it so on those games you will get the same or even less performance then using a single card.

Your better off getting the best single GPU you can afford that is compatible with your system over multiple cards as there less support in games as well as other issues (Heat, electricity, etc).

If your running a 1080P/1440P @165hz I'd probably go for the GTX 1080 ti if it's within your budget.

Hi, WildCard999 I'm using this Video card for my build and this monitor.

But he had said if I don't use 2 graphics cards then the monitor may not work correctly soooo...
Also I was planning on buying all the parts on CyberMonday or BlackFriday
so if I don't buy the amount of Video Cards then that's gonna end up costing me a lot of money.
