I've built my pc a month ago and thought I had thermal paste on a cpu pin while building. So I looked after building and didn't see anything. It's been bugging me ever since last week because I've started noticing less performance in my games like overwatch, its the only game I play consistently so I couldn't know if it's across different games or not. Here's a picture, my question is, do you think this is the reason my game isn't performing well, or are my settings too high.

I don't think thermal paste is the issue, how are your temps? I know the Ryzens come with coolers that can handle overclocking. But if you are really pushing it I'd get a better cooler heat is the enemy of all computers. You can try lowering different setting to see which trade off works the best for you.

My temps are around 70 while gaming. I lowered the settings and didnt get any drops. I still need to know if the thermal paste will be a problem
