I will be using the PC for 144hz gaming

2 Suggestions, get a bigger SSD, theyre great. Also that cooler will not be sufficient for that cpu, those cpu's run extremely hot, you will need a water cooler, a Corsair h100i V2 is what I personally recommend but a custom loop would be even better.

Will it cause major issues using this CPU cooler? like PC breaking issues?

I can see it causing major throttling, since your pc is so over the top i assume you're going to be doing some heavy stuff, you'll need a beefier cooling solution for sure
