What is the cpu that is best for my system?

I want to ask what is the cpu that will work for my motherboard that is better than the i5 750 because i have an i5 750 at 2.67 ghz and i want a better one because it will bottlenock my gpu wich is msi gtx 970 4g and 16gb ram so i want a new cpu that is better than the one i have and my motherboard is intel dp55wb with silverstone 600w and a 1200v 650w ups and thank you

For a decent-ish performance boost, you can go with either of these:
- i7 860
- i7 870
- i7 880

They're not going to be cheap tho, as their support has already ended. But at least you won't have to get yourself a new mobo and possibly RAM and kick in a few more speed into your RIG.

If i may add something, getting a SSD would make your PC's overall speed much much faster(not gaming tho) adding a new breath to it.
