What's the difference between BQ and BT

Solution
There are quite a lot of differences between those two low build quality units.

1. 500 BQ is made by Andyson while no-one knows who made 450 BT unit, it's probably made by HEC.

2. 450 BT is such a bad unit that EVGA doesn't even list it on their site. Only place where to confirm that 450 BT is sold by EVGA is in their product guide,

Though, 500 BQ is listed nicely on their site,

3. 500 BQ is semi-modular while 450 BT is fully wired.

4. Operating temperature is also low for both units. 500 BQ can output up to 500W at 40°C while 450 BT can output up to 450W at 30°C. In normal...

4. Operating temperature is also low for both units. 500 BQ can output up to 500W at 40°C while 450 BT can output up to 450W at 30°C. In normal operating temperatures, PSU can easily reach internal temps of 50°C and when that happens, PSU max output drops considerably. For 500 BQ at 50°C, you're looking max output of 450W to 475W while for 450 BT at 50°C, max output you're looking at would be 350W to 400W.

5. 12V rail amperage output is also different, 41.6A for 500 BQ and 36A for 450 BT.

Rather than cheaping out on PSU, go with good quality PSU, e,g Seasonic: S12II-520, M12II-520 EVO, G-550 or Focus+ 550,

Focus+ is the newest PSU line from Seasonic and it comes with 10 years of OEM warranty. Other listed Seasonic PSUs come with 5 years of OEM warranty.

All my 3 PCs: Skylake, Haswell and AMD are also powered by Seasonic. Full specs with pics in my sig.

Yeah I ended up buying the 500BQ, and for 40 canadian pesos, I think I got a pretty good deal. My whole system consumes about 175W, so the PSU is ample enough.
