So i built a computer for a friend with a a8-7600 (yes i know i should've got an x4 860k) and a gtx 1050 ti. didn't get the athlon because this was a very tight budget build! i have 8gb of 1600 ram installed as well as an ssd and hdd. our problem is the gtx 1050 ti is underperforming in games like h1z1 kotk where it should be getting 80+ frames on medium settings. instead its getting 45-55. and i know the 1050ti should be better because i built another budget pc with these exact same parts, just a different mobo and it was hitting 80+ fps. one of the other problems is when i went to update the bios, with both methods i got an error message. One saying my widnows version isnt supported and the other saying the file size or name is wrong. when i downloaded the bios update from the mobo website it said it was for windows 10 so im confused by that. if anyone can please help that would be amazing! also a side not i tried even oc'ing the cpu in the bios a little and that didn't change the frames at all.
mobo model: GIGABYTE GA-F2A68HM-H FM2+ AMD A68H

KotK is a mainly CPU based game, so I would have thought that is the problem as your CPU is quite low-end. You can try setting your graphics settings higher if they aren't already, as that is supposed to utilise your GPU more to take stress off of CPU, didn't work for me but it works for some.
