Hello all! This is my 1st time around building a PC, so any help is much appreciated!
I currently have an HP Envy 750-116 with nVidia GTX 970, Corsair 550W PSU, and 2 TB SSD. I stated those parts specifically because I intend to use those parts on my new build. I have just ordered (and plan to receive tomorrow) the following:
Corsair 200R Case
Intel i7-7700k processor
MSI Z270 M3 mobo
32GB DDR4 RAM
I plan to piece it all together as it seems fairly simple. My question comes when I plan to use my current 2 TB SSD. It has Windows 10 on it, but from what I understand, it's not as plug 'n' play as I assumed. What do I need to do with my current SSD in order for it to work on my new build without any issues? I am not concerned with the files on it; just want to use the one I have to prevent from buying a new one. Thank you in advance!
