[SOLVED] Macbook charger not working

Try borrowing charger from your friend and check if there is a charge light. If yes, your charger has a problem.
Else try performing an SMC reset and see if that helps, below link will help you do that:

Or else In the below thread heating up the charger using a hair dryer a little worked for many. Just refer the below thread once:

Edit:- SMC RESET
1. Shut down the computer.
2. Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
3. On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time for 10 secs.
4. Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
5. Press the power button to turn on the computer.

Unfortunately, my friends don't have these kind of chargers
The SMC reset didn't work, neither did heating up the charger.
The charger is quite new, though.
how long have you had your mac book air. because it could be the battery itself, because my friend had the same issue, but once we installed a new battery it worked, in fact he said it worked better, anyway hoped this helped anyway here's a couple link to the cheapest battery available on eBay
