Hello I have an old Computer which I plan on giving to my Nephew the current stuffs on it are:

  • Gigabyte H61M-DS2
    4GB DDR 3 Memory (x2)
    Intel Core i3 2120 @ 3.30GHz
He's been playing the following games lately:

  • League of Legends
    DOTA 2
    CS GO
    Ragnarok
    Left 4 Dead 2
    Warcraft
    Generals
    SIMS

So I plan on buying a low profile Graphics Card before giving the Computer away just so he can get a few decent FPS when playing but the specifications confuses me... I'm not really good at this I usually just ask the store for such things but I'm only ordering online for this one as I don't have a free time :/

My choices are these 2 but I'm really confused at which one is better?

Does more numbers on the specifications mean a much better performance? But 730 is supposed to be better than the 710 one right? If the 710 is better then why is 730 more expensive? I don't understand, can someone please enlighten me? Also if you have better card suggestions I don't mind ditching this 2, but please could someone explain to me what am I supposed to look at when buying graphic cards? I also plan to build my own gaming computer in the future so I wanna learn, so to those who would be replying thank you so much in advance and please save me

Oh alright, thank you so much for the reply! Is that the highest Video Card I can get for that system? Could you suggest a few mid and high Video Card for that Computer or something around 150$ below, I still have a week before they get the unit

My Nephew already took the PC away and I've ordered for a Zotac GTX 1050 but at the moment they have 0 stocks so I'm still waiting, they said my Motherboard can support PCIE x16 so it should work.

Ah! I think it was the Motherboard Versions like the older ones only support up to 2.0 PCIE? But on mine the box said it supports up to PCIE Gen. 3? I guess thats 3.0 maybe? I'm not sure but on the shop they said it should work so it was fine I guess, if it doesn't work I'll just return it slap the guy and order a 750 one like what you said.

Or maybe it's the Bios Version? I'm running an old one, Bios Date: 9/30/14, Version: 04.06.05 will it work with the latest cards?
