Hard Drive/Disk Stopped working

So a while ago my hard drive stopped working and it dident work for a long time then one day it appred in Windows I formated it and BOOM It starts working. Then today something weird happened my drive dissapered so I tried restarting my pc and its there again so I dident think much of it until i hear this weird noce form my Hard drive and then my drive dissapers again I restart my pc and then the same thing happeneds again. Any help? Anyone know how to fix it?

I think its internal power issue unless the drive is not properly Connected
have you checked the power cable and sata connector ? try changing it to different ports

Weird sounds from a hard drive sound like a failing hard drive.

Might be time to invest in an ssd.

Check the manual of your laptop. It may have a built-in diagnostic utility for troubleshooting your hardware including the hard drive. Another option if you have it: remove the drive and use a SATA-USB adapter and test that hard drive on another PC as an external drive with a hard drive health utility like CrystalDiskMark.
